Life as an auctioneer

Wow......has been a long time since I was last on here.....so much for updating daily!!!
News.....well, things going well. This cruise got off to a great start with us reaching our top goal by the end of the 1st auction and we still have 2 more to go. Just wish we were getting the commision on this cruise but hopefully we'll be moving soon to our own ship. However, we have new auctioneers coming begining of July and we have to cover for 2 days and run things until they get here. Very exciting - time to prove we are ready to go by ourselves.

Not been off the ship much. Have a few pics to put on but the interent connection is bad. Hence, the lack of updates on here too. Hoping to update when in Cozumel next week with the wi-fi in our local bar so watch this space.

And of course we do have some time to relax. The ship has lots of things to do, including as you can see here a full sports court, and climbing wall, and wave rider and so many bars and dining rooms that I couldnt list them all here (the crew bar however is the best ive been to and a bottle of Corona is only $1

This is a shot of our gallary on board, we have some amazing works of art over 1000 pieces in total including Dali, Picasso, Miro and Chagall (and yes I do know all about these artists)

Im sure you have all seen Miami on tv before. And if you have you would have seen the road to the right of this photo. I love it, and its a great sailaway when the sun is out (as it was today) sometimes when your sitting out in the sun, watching the world go by with nothing else to do you realise being on ships is a bloody great job

We bump into other ships all the time in differnt ports and today we were in with our old ship the Destiny (our new ship is much nicer but it still was nice to see her from another perspective)

So its been a while, and we have now completed our first cruise. Things are going well and our bosses are teaching us loads. Were obvioulsy out of Miami (as you can see in the photo) and we are doing two different cruises, to places we have seen before. T he only place we have not bee to before is a place in Hatti. Hopefully gonna get off thier soon, but its a privite island and very guest orrientated. On the work froint, the job is good and everything we expected.
